I’m a UK-based freelance book designer, living in Scotland.
Combining an arts background with a career in publishing, I specialise in book cover design, as well as interior book design (aka typesetting).
I’ve worked with big houses (like Bloomsbury and Bonnier), with indie presses (like Indie Novella and Myriad), and with emerging authors from around the world. I’m most excited by literary and contemporary fiction (especially speculative, radical, scary, or funny stuff), as well as short stories and anthologies. Equally, I have a passion for books that revolve around pictures – like photo books, detailed guides and even kids’ books – and in 2025 I co-founded The Graphic Novel Studio with comics aficionado Corinne Pearlman, to help budding graphic novelists bring their ideas to life.
